National Day of Prayer Service
Thursday, May 2
Dinner At 5 PM - Under the Tent
Prayer At 6:30 PM - In The Sanctuary
Regional Live-Streamed Event
Join us as we unite for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, at 6:30 pm in our sanctuary. This is a big year for our nation and we must collectively pray for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done! Vineyard, Laguna Niguel is hosting and live-streaming this regional worship and prayer event to intercede for many topics. We invite our local community to join us, including La Vina Spanish Ministry, Vineyard Young Adults Ministry, the Mercy Warehouse Staff, Family Church OC, and others. Childcare with kids’ activities, including bounce houses, pizza, and more, will also be provided for this occasion.
MEAL AND PRAYER:
We will start the night with a meal in our outdoor tent at 5 pm, followed by prayer at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.
A CALL TO FAST:
We also encourage you to participate in a corporate fast on this day before our gathering time. This fast can begin the morning of the National Day of Prayer and end with our dinner at 5 pm. If you would like to participate, please seek the Lord on which way He is calling you to fast. Some fasting methods include a water-only fast, only liquids, a Daniel fast, or fasting something other than food.
National Day of Prayer is a yearly day of observance established by the U.S. Congress, where the President signs a proclamation encouraging all Americans “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.” We invite you to join our church as we seek the counsel of the Lord through prayer and intercession in the mighty name of Jesus!
