Tijuana Mission Trip

Tijuana Mission Trip

Friday & Saturday, February 16 & 17

Leaving Friday at 9 AM, Returning Saturday Evening (timing may vary)

Passport Required

REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 9

For those interested in experiencing the life-changing effects of mission work, our church will be leading a mission trip to Tijuana once every 3 months. We invite you to join us for this next occasion as we minister alongside two influential non-profit organizations that aim to reach the lost and the broken for Jesus. During the trip, we will be staying overnight in a safe area at a hotel called Gamma Tijuana.

If you would like to join us, you must have a passport available when crossing the border. Passports can take some time to receive so please make sure to start this process in advance if you are considering going. Note that you can get an expedited passport for an extra fee. There will be ongoing future mission trips about once every three months, so if you miss the passport timeline, we recommend still getting one NOW for the next trip.

Selah

On Friday, we will be ministering with an organization called Selah. Selah ministers to those involved in prostitution in the red-light district in Tijuana. For the past 8 years, they have been ministering and sending people out to reach those on the streets with gifts, evangelism, and prayer. They also host worship in their coffee house and help minister to those who come by through their evangelism efforts.

Mexico Red

On Saturday, we will be ministering alongside Mexico Red, which is an education and feeding ministry in Tijuana's Skid Row. This organization preaches the gospel while feeding homeless people three times a week. They also help get kids into schooling to give them a hopeful future. We will be hosting an event for families on this occasion and joining their breakfast from 8 am -12:30 pm.  For more information on Mexico Red, click HERE.

Please make sure to register by Friday, February 9. For questions, please contact Daniela Nasser at Daniela@vineyardln.com.

Also note that passport photos can be taken at AAA or certain pharmacies. This photo can then be taken to any U.S. Post Office, where you will also fill out a passport application form to receive your passport. For more information on getting a passport, click HERE.
