Child Safety On Digital Platforms - Parent Information Night
Tuesday, May 23, 6:30 pm
In the Chapel
We invite all parents and those who look after children to join us for a meeting on how to keep children safe when using digital and social media platforms. At this meeting, we will discuss the importance of children not talking to strangers on the Internet and equip parents to have conversations with their children about difficult topics such as exposure to inappropriate content. This is a regional event and the goal is to empower Christian parents to be able to have open communication with their families on tough subjects that will strengthen their connections to each other, as well as their identity as believers.
This presentation will be hosted by Jen Pfeiler, who has been volunteering for A21, an anti-trafficking organization and Daniel Garcia, who works for Exodus Cry. Both organizations have resources for teaching parents how to talk to their kids and teens about staying safe with online games and social media.
So we welcome you to join us for this safety and awareness night that will strengthen families and allow them to keep their future generations safe, strong and whole in Christ!
