Wednesday Night Classes Returning

Our Wednesday Night classes are starting back up again on the third week of September. Please join us weekly for these nights beginning with worship in our main sanctuary, followed by three classes offered to help you grow in your spiritual walk with the Lord.

Wednesday night classes are an important way that we welcome the community into our church and communicate our core values. In these classes, we introduce people to the foundations of walking a Spirit-filled life and equip them to operate in the fullness of all that God has for them. Life in the Spirit, taught by Pastor Mike, is a powerful first step for those who are newly joining our church and seeking to learn more about the Holy Spirit. Our Prophecy class is a great next step to this class that provides a fine-tuned teaching on hearing God’s voice. Married Life: Becoming One is another great class option that focuses on establishing healthy communication with the help of the Holy Spirit to resolve marital issues in a peaceful way.

Fall 2022 Classes

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT (6:30PM Main Sanctuary after worship)
Mike Hudgins
Life in the Spirit provides a unique, smaller setting to interact more personally with Pastor Mike, as well as with others in the class who are newer to VLN. We highly recommend this class for newer people, but anyone is welcome to attend as many times as they would like.

In this class Pastor Mike teaches about the biblical foundations for our church's beliefs and practices. You will be exploring answers to questions such as these:

"How can I have a personal connection with the Holy Spirit in my everyday life?"

“What are some ways to 'be filled’ with the Holy Spirit?”

“What are spiritual gifts, and which ones is God activating in my life?”

“How can I personally experience my Heavenly Father’s warm, personal love for me?”

“How can I learn to recognize God’s voice for myself and for others?”

“How can I participate in this 'Presence-driven' church?”

Life in the Spirit offers a safe, encouraging environment to know God more intimately, to allow Him to change us more fully into the person He created us to be, and to serve Him in our church community and in the world around us. Contact Ann Bowman at Ann@vcchurch.com for more information.

PROPHECY ONE (In the Family Room, Taught by Janyne and Ben Ekwall, Chuck and Candy Edman, and team)

We will be discussing intimacy with God, the seat of rest, hearing God’s voice, discernment and how God uses creativity to release his prophetic voice through His people.  In addition, we will be studying the lives of Prophets in the bible. Each week, you will have the opportunity to participate in fun prophetic activities and exercises, in a safe environment.

MARRIED LIFE: BECOMING ONE (Sheneau & Deborah Stanley)

Communication is the most essential part of married life. In fact, most issues can be solved by learning to communicate in a safe way. What is your spouse feeling/thinking? What is going on inside of them? What am I feeling/thinking? We long to be heard, known and understood. Holy Spirit is here to help us share, listen and solve problems in a peaceful way! We have gone to more marriage seminars & retreats to learn what it is to be a Christlike husband, wife, father & mother. We are a dad & mom that want to give away what Jesus has given us.
